Description: This teenager sustained a nasal fracture and underwent closed reduction of the fracture. This is a quick procedure performed under intravenous sedation.

Details: AFter the injury the nose is twisted to the patient's right. After it appears straighter.

Details: There is a small bump on the bridge which is slightly smaller after surgery. A closed reduction procedure often cannot remove a traumatic bump. This often requires a more formal rhinoplasty (nose surgery) which can be performed several months after the injury.
