Description: This woman in her early 30's wanted to remove brown spots in the cheeks. She had tried topical bleaching creams with minimal success. She underwent laser removal with an Erbium laser. On the left side only some of the lesions were removed. This was her first treatment so typically only some of the areas are treated to first determine the patient's response to the laser at a particular setting. In general this is a good principle to follow since every patient's skin may react differently to any particular laser even at the same settings.

Details: The right cheek spots are gone. Several brown spots have been removed on the left but she will require an additional laser procedure to remove the rest.
